A change on this trip with a night spent in a hotel, (at Horb). With a journey out via Strassbourg, (a superb steak lunch in the station buffet), then onto Hausach for the 16.15, 038 hauled train to Horb. The steam locomotive timing logs show how much was packed in, so yes, this was a trip organised by brother Don! A busy Saturday, with the only waiting around being an uncharacteristic long spell in a meadow at Bretzfeld to see very little. Unusual for Germany in those days. Made up for by a short but busy evening of steam locomotive activity at Bad Friedrichschall Jagstfeld.
