9 May. The middle of a heat wave! But very dull weather for 35028 passing West Byfleet and some local trains on the lunctime Surrey Hills VSOE Pullman.   next 9 May.   next 9 May. Thankfully the cloud had cleared and the hot and sunny weather was back in full control as Clan Line on it's 500 ton plus train climbed to the final summit of Gomshall Bank, near to Hackhurst Farm.   next 9 May. 35028 looked superb as usual climbing to the summit. next 9 May. She may have looked superb, and was fine to be photographed, but for once the lovely three cylinder roar was totally drowned out. next 9 May.
