Bluebell Railway: March 14th 2009.

Some reasonably fine weather and two fine ex SR locos working decide me to spend some time on the Bluebell Railway. U class 31638 and O1 class 31065 being the two locos that interested me. next

31638 heads into Horsted Keynes while the signlaman waits with the single line token for the section up to Kingscote. next 31638 pulls into Horsted Keynes. next After a short stop the 2-6-0 heads off towards Sharpethorne and Kingscote. next Must be Australian firebuckets! next O1 class 0-6-0 exchanges tokens at Horsted Keynes as 31638 waits to head back to Sheffield Park. next 31065 heads North away from Horsted Keynes. next Also working was 80151 on the Golden Arrow lunchtime dining train. Seen entering Horsted Keynes. next A short drive got me to Sharpthorne, and the Northern exit of the tunnel.
