34023 on a dull Autumn Day,  Oct 26 2007 The Giants of Steam weekend had seen visiting 34007 and 34081 with "81" due to work on Oct 26, the last 2007 day with normal M-F operations. A wait at Sharpthorne tunnel indicated 34081 had only reached Horsted Keynes on the breakfast train, but that was forgotten as 34023 put in a day long sparkling show! For some photos I am using the 10 times zoom on my Fuji S5700, followed by cropping with PSP8. Giving unusual shots that disguise the location they are taken from, (always the public side of the fence).   next 26 Oct. That sparkling peformance started with a superb exit from Sharpthorne tunnel on the 11.00 from Sheffield Park. next next 26 Oct.
